As usual Jenny – you know exactly what I need to hear exactly when I need to hear it. It’s like you’re living in my head! Thanks for the useful advice. Im off to go get my notepad. 🙂
Jenny Shih says
Awesome, Evelyn! Get brainstorming. You can do ti!

Jenny these are brilliant and so true. It’s not something that many people like to hear. I did not like to hear it when I was starting out but it’s true. Constantly changing offers because you hear crickets is a surefire way to confuse your followers and potential customers. Stick with what you’ve created and keep taking action. Again BRILLIANT
Jenny Shih says
Thanks, Kendrick!! I see too many people jumping around, and it just doesn’t work. Small tweaks are how we get to the successful place we long for. You’re proof of that!

Love this! I used to always scratch the entire project/ idea at the first sign that things we’re working out. It’s so great to remember that little tweaks can go a really long way.
Thanks Jenny!
Jenny Shih says
Yes, they’re your ticket!! And even better, they’re way easier than starting from scratch!

“Your success is really in your hands.” Brilliant, Jenny!!
It really is about taking a step back, taking a different perspective, and making the change. I love Google Docs and can see creating a spreadsheet to track what worked, what didn’t, and the things I’ll change moving forward!! Really enjoying these videos!!!!
Jenny Shih says
It really is, Jennifer. It’s all up to us — and that’s amazing, empowering, and sometimes terrifying. But we’re in charge, and I love that about business. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your tip — I know others will appreciate that as well.

Great insight and challenge, Jenny! It’s SO easy to throw in the towel. Time to get those creative juices flowing. 🙂
Jenny Shih says
It’s so easy that’s usually what we default to. Doubling down and finding and executing those backup plans isn’t always easy, but that’s where the success comes from! I’m cheering you on!
Ilesha Graham says
Thanks for this! I had something that I launch and got complete crickets in response & so I dumped it. Time to pull it back out and tweak ’cause I know there’s some good stuff in there! You ROCK, Jenny!
Jenny Shih says
You got it, Ilesha! Crickets does not mean scrap it. It means go back to brainstorming and find 17 new ways to promote it, tweak it, etc. Don’t give up yet! Sending you good vibes for good brainstorming!

Great feedback Jenny,
I love how authentic you are. it gives me the courage to be myself out there and market my work in a way that is true for me. I do have a habit of creating new programs, so many great ideas, so little time. But like the idea of revisiting and reworking what already exists!
Thanks
Jenny Shih says
It’s common to keep trying new things, so know that you’re not alone! Revisit the stuff you’ve done and play with them a bit. As I tell my clients, make 7 backup plans to sell it before you give up. You can do it!
Stacie says
This is great Jenny, and actually a feeling of relief! Instead of having to start from scratch when somethings not working, I realize I can build on what I’ve already done & go back to my mind map & regroup. thanks for helping me rethink this! Xx

You got it, Stacie!
