Alright, Superhero. It’s time for a little heart-to-heart chat.
First, let me tell you that you are amazing and the world needs you and what you do.
Unfortunately, you could be limiting your world-saving abilities because of one little lie you’re telling yourself.
Do you know what that lie is?
It goes something like this:
It’s not right to make money using my superpowers.
I call bullshit.
Check out this video. The crayons never lie.
Are you ready to make a living using your superpowers?

Caryn says
You’re right. The crayons don’t lie!
Jenn says
A Batman analogy… *palm to forehead*…Yes!
Kat Sloma says
Yes, even superheros need to eat! Love it!
Lois says
Wow. Those crayons DON’T lie! Was that supposed to make me cry? Um, it did. I’ve been believing that lie way too long. I can still be a superhero, but what a novel idea for me, make money too? I’ve got to quit giving myself away! Although, I have to say, I’ve gotten some pretty awesome things back using the barter system and by things, I mean services, like massages. *AHH* Just found this site, but it’s going in my favorites. Thanks.
Jenny Shih says
I will not disagree that trading services for massages is lovely. I’ve done that before, too!
Yes, Lois, you can make money using your superpowers. In fact, I think you should!
Miriam Ortiz y Pino says
Nice one Jenny. When Super Heroes make money they can pay for stuff that helps keep others employed. And that frees up time for the Super Hero because the liquor store on the corner won’t be robbed by someone desperate to pay their own rent. Everybody wins.

Nicely put, Miriam!

I loved this except for the Batman analogy. Batman inherited his mansion, servants and cash when his parents were killed by someone (Was it the Joker? I don’t remember.)who turned out to be a super-enemy when the poor little rich kid grew up. Superman, however, did make money for himself by being a reporter – that’s how he met Lois Lane. Duh!
Pickiness aside, this is a great little video, thanks! 🙂
